Key Stage 3 Support

Students may have started year 7 at the lower end of ‘working towards the expected standard’ or ‘not secondary ready’. As Heads of English, we know how important it is to bridge these gaps early before they widen as students get older. We offer supportive, personalised small group booster sessions for these lower ability year 7s to help them become more confident with their English skills so they can make progress alongside their peers. These can have a reading or a writing focus.

Building up a productive working relationship with a small group of students is one of our strengths and passions. We can support small groups of students in keys stages 2, 3, 4 or 5 with regular intervention sessions according to their needs.
