Between us we have twenty years’ experience of teaching English and leading outstanding English departments. We are avid readers who share a passion for the critical and creative aspects of English Language as well as the joys of English Literature.
We promote the study of English as a force for improving young people’s life chances through developing communication skills and cultural capital. We have a history of producing excellent results for our students and have trained and led successful teams of English teachers who share the same drive to inspire. Our teaching experience ranges from key stage 2 to key stage 5 and as senior examiners we have an excellent understanding of what is required of students in order to succeed in their GCSE examinations. Building on our successful leadership of individual English departments, we now work in partnership with a range of schools to raise English achievement through building supportive and productive relationships with a variety of students, English teachers and heads of department. We love sharing our English expertise through the packages we offer: these range from personalised English teacher support sessions to purposeful English intervention for key groups of students.
